The regulatory clock isn't just running. It's been reset.
The 2026/27 Budget's Securing the NDIS for Future Generations agenda is already in motion: evidence-based eligibility assessments, a new commissioning model for SIL and coordination supports, stronger NDIA enforcement powers and new controls targeting fraud.
SIL registration has changed. The 1 October deadline has passed, and providers are now being assessed against the new SIL Practice Standards. The new Aged Care Act is in force, and the rights of older Australians are now enforceable obligations.

Six years, a clean audit and zero Commission complaints. Underneath: a 4/20 governance score, Director Penalty Notice risk, superannuation arrears, a $1.1M unreconciled balance and an undetected data breach.
